We can guide you in finding just the right facility

Sometimes it is more appropriate to move to a senior facility, where varying levels of services are available. Companionship, health care services and meals are provided as well as appropriate levels of assistance.

With over 1,000 facilities in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Roseville Areas, how do you choose? A1care has visited most of the facilities and knows the staff and programs. We can help you decide which is the most appropriate for your needs.

Here are some of your choices:

  • Private home RCFEs—homes where a few seniors live together along with a caretaker.
  • Retirement facilities—encourage independent living, with meals, and activities.
  • Assisted living facilities—where independent living is encouraged, but 24x7 assistance is available, if needed. Assistance may include personal care, medication management, laundry, housekeeping, transportation, meals and social activities.
  • Dementia/Alzheimer facilities—offer specialized programs for residents suffering for Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory loss.

After you determine the type of facility, we can help you decide which home is best for your loved one. And after moving in, we will monitor the facility on your behalf.
