We can guide you in finding just the right facility
Sometimes it is more appropriate to move to a senior facility, where varying levels of services are available. Companionship, health care services, and meals are provided as well as appropriate levels of assistance.
With over 1,000 facilities in the Bay Area, how do you choose? A1care has visited most of the facilities and know the staff and programs. We can help you decide which is the most appropriate for your needs.
Here are some of your choices:
- Private home RCFEs—homes where a few seniors live together along with a caretaker.
- Retirement facilities—encourage independent living, with meals, and activities.
- Assisted living facilities—where independent living is encouraged, but 24×7 assistance is available if needed. Assistance may include personal care, medication management, laundry, housekeeping, transportation, meals, and social activities.
- Dementia/Alzheimer facilities—offer specialized programs for residents suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory loss.
We can help you decide which option is best for your loved one. And after moving in, we will monitor the facility on your behalf.
